Apple Spiced Cider

Ingredients

2 cups Fresh Agave Sour recipe below

1-½ cups water

1 cup (partially thawed) DOLE Chef-Ready Cuts Diced Apples

¼ cup DOLE Pineapple Chunks

2 cinnamon sticks

1 serrano peppers seeded and quartered

Additional (partially thawed) DOLE Chef-Ready Cuts Diced Apples

ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Combine agave sour, water, apples, pineapple chunks, cinnamon sticks, and pepper in infusion jar.  Store in refrigerator for 4 hours; remove serrano pepper.  Continue storing in refrigerator for at least 24 hours before serving.
  2. Serve apple spiced cider over ice in tall glass.  Garnish with additional diced apples and sprinkle of cinnamon, if desired.
  3. Fresh Agave Sour: Stir together 1-1/2 cups agave nectar, 1 cup fresh lemon juice, 1 cup fresh lime juice and 1 cup water in large container, until blended.  Keep refrigerated.  Makes about 4-1/2 cups.
