
Ingredients
Egg Filling
5 ea eggs
½ cup heavy cream
1 Tbsp parsley
1 Tbsp chives
2 Tbsp salt
2 Tbsp pepper
Mango Filling
1 cup DOLE® Chef-Ready Cuts Mango Cubes
¼ cup maple syrup
1 tsp salt
3 ea egg yolk
2 Tbsp water
Assembly:
5 ea Phyllo dough sheets
1 cup gouda cheese, shredded
1 cup Farmer cheese, crumbled
Directions
Egg Filling
- In a bowl add eggs, cream, parsley, chives, 2 Tbsp salt and 2 Tbsp pepper.
- Cook in frying pan stirring often over medium heat until thoroughly cooked. Remove from pan to cool.
Mango Filling
- In a separate pan add mangos, syrup and 1 tsp salt and cook for 15 minutes over medium heat stirring frequently. Remove from pan to cool.
- Mix egg yolk and water in small bowl to make egg wash.
Assembly:
- Place equal amounts of egg and mango mixture onto center of all 10 pieces of dough with gouda and farmers cheese. Fold to form triangles.
- Wash seam and top each with egg wash.
- Bake in 350-degree oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve warm.
